We take the protection of your personal data seriously and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) through technical and organisational measures.

1. Cookies

We do not use cookies on this website, nor do we use any analysis or tracking tools. We also do without external fonts: the font we use is hosted by us, and no connection is made to Google Fonts or comparable services.

2. Log Data

Each time this website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information transmitted by your browser in server log files: IP address, internet service provider, referrer page, date and time of access, data volume transferred, browser, language and operating system. This data is evaluated in pseudonymised form for statistical purposes and is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of this website. Log files are deleted automatically once the usual retention period has expired.

3. Contact Form

If you use the contact form on this website, we collect the details requested there: name, company, email address, product family and your enquiry, together with your telephone number if you choose to provide it. The telephone number is an optional field. We send this information by email to an internal mailbox; it is not stored in a database on the server. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, as the processing serves to deal with your enquiry and, where applicable, to take steps prior to entering into a contract. Before sending, you confirm with a checkbox that you have read this privacy policy and agree to the processing of your details for this purpose.

4. Applications by Email

If you apply to us by email, we collect the details required for this: name, email address, the role or apprenticeship you are applying for, and your preferred start date. We process any optional details you provide, such as address, telephone number or attachments, on the same basis. We delete your data no later than three months after the application process has concluded, or, with your separate consent, after up to two years, for example to consider you for a comparable vacancy. The legal basis is Section 26(1) BDSG and, where consent has been given, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

5. Job Advertisements

We display the list of our current vacancies on the careers page without embedding a browser-loaded script from our provider join.com. As a result, no data is transmitted to join.com when the careers page is accessed. Only when you click on an individual job advertisement are you taken to the join.com website. From that point on, the privacy policy of join.com applies.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not transfer your data to third parties or other recipients.

Data Security

We protect this website and our other systems against loss, misuse and unauthorised access through technical and organisational measures. Our employees are bound to confidentiality.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights: access to the data stored about you (Article 15), rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20), and objection to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77).

Voluntary Nature of Data Provision

Providing your personal data is neither legally nor contractually required, nor is it a precondition for entering into a contract with us. You are not obliged to provide us with personal data. Any possible consequences of not providing it follow from the respective processing purposes described above under points 1 to 5.

Children and Young People

Persons under the age of 18 should not transmit personal data to us without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Changes to This Policy

We update this privacy policy whenever changes to our data processing or to the applicable law make this necessary.
